DO i need a reservation?

Nope! We seat first-come, first-served here, and we always have. But things move quickly around here, and there’s lots of places to hang out and grab a drink if there’s a wait.
 

Do you do takeout orders?

Definitely!! All you gotta do is call us up at (919) 932-0134 and one of our badass bar team will take care of ya. Make sure you check the specials board online too, which is posted daily to our Facebook page! You can also order online and save yourself some time on hold
 

WHat’s the deal with the bottle shop?

Our little pandemic baby, Wooden Nickel Bottle Shop, opened in Oct ‘20 in the back of the historic James Pharmacy building(next door to and officially part of the pub). Y’all were clamoring for takeout beers back then, and we were happy to oblige! Since then we’ve been thrilled to offer a continuation of our well-known craft beer program in take-home sizes, so expect to find the same carefully-curated brand of deliciousness on our shelves that we’ve always had on tap. Anything from the shop can be added to your dine-in tab or to any takeout order

WAIT, there’s a bake shop too?!

Yes!! Also located next to the pub, Kim’s Bake Shop is open from 8am to 4pm on Friday, and from 8am til Noon every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Our dessert queen Kimberly Mayer is awesomely talented, and for years has built a local following baking up sweets creations for our pub and community. But as of Sept ‘20 she’s no longer a secret, and now that she’s been unleashed on the world you can visit anytime and immerse yourself in a dessert dreamland of cakes, pies, pastries, donuts & more. do you do catering orders for your wings?

Sure do! But sorry, no delivery. Our famously crispy-juicy jumbo chicken wings are available in increments of 50 or 100 for any large gathering or special event— just give us a call and we’ll get you set up. Typically we just need about 3 hours’ notice to make a really big order happen, fyi
 

do you have a private room for events?

We do not. What you see is what you get here at WNP, we’re into the small-but-mighty thing
