Welcome to The Wooden Nickel!

Since 2003 we’ve been Historic Hillsborough’s pub. A relaxing bar to meet with friends and family, a restaurant with some of the best food around, and our famous (if only in their own minds) bartenders who make a cocktail like no one else. Our culinary team includes a ton of experience in fine dining, providing the base for some of the best “bar food” around. We feature local beers, food, and characters.
